DETAILS
"The Age Good Food Guide 2003 says" Set in a grand 1860's guesthouse a short saunter from the beach, this friendly bistro successfully captures the seaside holiday mood. With its bright lemon walls, welcoming staff and breezy atmosphere, Athelstane is comfortable rather than slick, and the food reflects this. Dishes are nicely presented and the menu is quite varied, from the traditional pork with grilled aple to the more contemporary squid ink pasta. 14/20Recommended by:
